Charlie Bradshaw Joins
NRCS Staff in Kaycee
My name is Charlie
Bradshaw and I am the new Soil Conservationist here in the Kaycee field
office. I am new to the office but
certainly not new to resource management.
I grew up on a ranch in western South Dakota and then attended South
Dakota State University where I majored in Range Science and Animal
Science. I started with the US Forest Service
as Rangeland Management Specialist student trainee in Nebraska and South
Dakota. I was hired permanently with the
FS in Northwestern Colorado where I lived for about 10 years. Then I transferred to Douglas, WY and worked
for the FS there for about 20 years. My
husband and I purchased a ranch east of Kaycee in 2013 and live there now.
My husband Harlan and I have two sons, Weston and
Justin. Our oldest son, Weston is
currently in the Marine’s based in Camp Pendleton, CA in the Third LAAD. Our youngest son, Justin is a senior in Kaycee
HS and signed up in the delayed entry program for the Marines. He will go to boot camp shortly after
graduation.
I like helping people and learning new things in the
agricultural arena so I look forward to meeting new people and helping them out
with any projects they may have. Harlan
and I are very happy to be in an area where agriculture is important.
